Publishing With Purpose. Thank you my favorite The Week Junior for featuring me and my newest book 'Georgina' in your awesome magazine! I eagerly look forward to every edition, and opening this one made my week!!! This magazine is one kids can't wait to read ... I love that you are helping kids make sense of the world! The Week Junior empowers hundreds of thousands of kids across all 50 states to love reading, develop their own points of view, and find their voice. No wonder we all love it!

We've come a long way in 1 year. And, Barnes&Noble has been with us this entire journey!! From our first 2 books launched at Barnes&Noble in Folsom, CA a year ago to showcasing all 5 of our books in Reno, NV. We colored, we read, we connected, we engaged, and we loved every minute of the warm hospitality and support!

We knew we'd be doing many fun things with our books, but we had never imagined in our wildest dreams that our books would make it into a destination wedding as gifts from a bride&groom (that believe in the power of affirmations!) to memorably welcome hundreds of their family and friends to another country and their blissful wedding!! What a blessed occasion to be a part of! Our book Me and the Universe filled Welcome Totes for each guest in gorgeous Dominican Republic!!🇩🇴🥂

Thank you Pittsburg Unified School District, Foothill Elementary School, and influencer Jessii Vee's nonprofit YANA (You Are Not Alone) for the enriching education combined with mental health support that you provide kids!! We felt so at home and embraced by your amazing community. Feeling honored and humbled to be featured on National Literacy Week! 🙏🏽 The welcome banner was epic!

Thank you amazing 13 year old Award-Winning Literacy Advocate, Book Reviewer, and Podcaster E Train Talks for featuring our Mom book 'I Never Saw My Mom's Cape, But ...' along with amazing books that change lives, and for celebrating our 10 year old author along with amazing authors whose stories grow the mind and warm the heart. Nothing like kids supporting kids!! 

As Valentine's Day came to an end, kids everywhere needed to know that a daily practice of unconditional self-love is the best self-care! Skye+Fam led a heartwarming 'Love Yourself' Workshop based on our books with special readings at Fairytale Town. The kids (and parents!) who visited the Story Center left with a positive sense of acceptance, gratitude, self-esteem, and practical tools to ground, center, and love themselves and appreciate their loving Moms and Dads! 💗

Familia Waldorf!!

Thank you amazing Waldorf School of the Peninsula's ethereal gift store for carrying our books along with magical Waldorf education supplies, inspiring natural materials, and handmade treasures that foster creativity, imagination, self-care and inner development. It is humbling for us to find our books sitting alongside hard-to-find books from Steiner Books and other inspirational authors whose storylines and artwork support healthy Waldorf lifestyle. 

Where it all started ... full circle! Throwback to when Skyler was just  3 years old, she would visit Face In A Book every week with her parents to find and read her favorite books! Today, at age 10, she returns to her childhood space of joy as an author and her books are available there for the next generation of young minds.  

Thank you fabulous Face In A Book for consciously gathering kids and adults out of their "facebooks" and into books!!   

New year doesn't have to mean a whole new or different you! Small increments of positive change create lasting up-leveling that is easier to work with, attain, and maintain.

As August ends, students, teachers, and parents everywhere gear up for a new school year - a time of year that can bring about many changes, stressors, and feeling overwhelmed. Skye+Fam led a powerful 'Back-2-School Affirmations Collage' Workshop based on our books with Storytimes and hands-on Crafting at Fairytale Town. 100s of kids who visited the Story Center left with a positive sense of back-2-school identity, self-esteem, and practical tools to reduce stress, love themselves and learning!

Readathon 2023 - Read, Raise Funds, and Save Lives! So honored to lead this year's Pratham Readathon to help raise funds and awareness that every kid who loves to read can make a real difference by simply dedicating themselves to 30 minutes of reading a day. While deepening their awareness of the educational needs of millions of peers around the world who are supported by Pratham, our kids are also deepening their own communication, presentation, activism, and fundraising skills.  

There are strong children who spend their childhood in a hospital healing from complex health conditions - so much so that the hospital has a full school onsite ensuring that the children's learning and education doesn't get impacted as they heal. Thank you Shriner's family for keeping these brave children in your world-class and kid-friendly care regardless of the family's ability to pay! We couldn't be more humbled to have our books in your schools and activity centers serving comfort and joy.
