Honor of a lifetime conversing with indigenous Maasai people of Tanzania in Dar es Salaam on modern day topics. 

Maasai wisdom: Try to be more sustainable than the 'take, take, take' and 'more and more' attitude. Maasai warriors are known for being content with what they have, and for learning to be happy throughout the day. The traditional greeting among the Maasai is "All the children are well!" that shows the importance the Maasai place on the well-being of children. Our📚 are Maasai approved✅

Skyler is a library kid, and with summer break here, she is thrilled to be raising awareness and participating in the Library Summer Reading Challenge! Skyler feels that ANY reading is good reading! 1 book over summer is good reading. 25 books a week is good reading. Audio book is good reading, and so is cookbooks and magazines. It all counts!🏅

We wish more kids and parents know about how impactful public libraries are! They are absolutely free, treasures of knowledge, relaxation and fun for all

In honor of National Foster Care Awareness Month (May) and Big Day Of Giving (May 2) Skyler wrote an article to encourage families to foster and adopt teens. Another humbling experience of utilizing storytelling to amplify and fundraise for an important cause that empowers youth!

In honor of National Burn Awareness Week (Feb 4 - 11) Skyler interviewed a brave burn patient who is just 11 years old and wrote an eye-opening and inspirational Patient Story. What an honor and humbling experience of utilizing storytelling to amplify an urgent cause and to deliver a call-to-action towards prevention!
